We entertained Melton at covert Lane on the 21st and tho losing 15-0 the lads had a good workout the only downside was that skipper Andy (ouch that hurt) Angel picked up a shoulder injury.

On Tuesday (24th Aug) night we travelled to local rivals Vipers and came away with a hard fought victory running in 4 converted tries from Vets skipper Jamie Cooper (2), Blane Howe (1) and Devon Constant (1), Blane Howe slotted all 4 conversions.

On the 4th of September the 1stXV travel to Stewarts & Lloyds while the 2nd XV entertain S&L's 2nd's at Covert Lane.

The 3rds are out as well on the 4th September at the grand opening of Sileby Vikings new ground in Cossington by Matt Hampson of the Tigers trust. All Jimmies are welcome and there is a bbq and band on late into the night.  All jimmies who have played against the Viking are more than welcome to come and have a game. Jimmies 3rds are now in the Conference league and have a great fixture list with 11 other teams to play against so will be out every weekend throughout the season. All the best to Manager Phil Bott  Captain Jason Radcliff and Vice Captain THE BEAST good luck to all the teams

"New and old players will be most welcome, so bring your kit and have a game."

Please come and support the club.

easyfundraising is a shopping directory that features some of your favourite online stores, including Amazon, Next, Debenhams, John Lewis, Toys R Us, HMV, Tesco and over 500 others. All you have to do is use the links on the easyfundraising site whenever you shop online and, at no extra cost to you, we'll receive a free donation of up to 15% from every purchase you make. It really is that simple!

It’s completely FREE to register and use and you still shop with each retailer in exactly the same way. Many retailers even offer additional discounts and money saving e-Vouchers when you shop using easyfundraising.

If you shop online anyway then why not raise valuable extra funds for us by using this fantastic scheme.  All you need to do is visit http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/aylestonestjamesrfc and when you register, select Aylestone St James RFC as the organisation you wish to support.
