From M1 South Come off the motorway at Junction 22 and head towards Leicester on the A50. At Groby island turn left onto the A46 and head towards Syston. Turn right at the Hoby Horse island and follow the A607 into Leicester. Approximately 2 miles turn left at GE Thorn onto the Ring Road (East), the A563 signposted Peterborough (A47) & Uppingham (A6). Follow road through one traffic light & 3 island junctions, Turning left at next main crossroads onto Scraptoft Lane. Follow road to top and as road bends sharply to the right carry straight on along a minor looking road; Covert Lane. The ground is approximately half a mile down, 2nd clubhouse on the left. |

From
Nottingham - A46 Follow directions from the Hobby Horse Island on the A607. From M1 North & M69 1st choice - Filter off the M1 at Junction 21A onto the A46 Leicester Western Bypass. (M69 users need to filter onto the M1 North at Junction 21 for one junction). Keep on the A46 until you reach the Hoby Horse Island then follow directions as M1 South. 2nd choice - Come off the M1 at Junction 21, turning right at island & going under the motorway travelling towards Leicester on the A5460 (A563). |

(M69 users just
carry on under M1 at the end of that motorway following same
signs). From the island still on the A5460 keep to the left lane and filter left, signposted Ring Road A563. At the next island turn left heading out on the A563 South & East. You carry on the A563 for approx 5 miles heading towards Oadby. After the Pork-Pie island the Ring Road is then just A563 East. The island where the Ring Road meets the A6 the Leicester Racecourse is on your right hand side. At this island turn right heading initially out on the A6 towards Market Harborough but again be in the left lane and filter left then turn left - signposted Peterborough (A47). Follow these Peterborough (A47) signs, turn left at a mini island and then right at main island onto Stoughton Drive. At the top of the hill turn right at the traffic lights (A47) and follow the road through Evington village; the road becomes Spencefield Lane after the mini island. Stay on road until you reach a T-junction. Turn right onto A47 (Uppingham Road), there is a sign post to Scraptoft here. At the next set of traffic lights turn left onto Station Road. Follow road until a sharp left bend with a church in front. At this bend turn right onto Covert Lane. The ground is approximately half a mile down, 2nd clubhouse on the left. |
